Employee Resource Groups

Logo Creation

Agency: Campbell-Ewald

Client: Campbell-Ewald

Role: Art Director & Designer

Campbell-Ewald has prided itself on building an inviting environment for their employees, with a focus on creating a sense of belonging. That priority allowed for the creation of employee resource groups. Each one created and run by folks, wishing to form a community of like-minded, and or similarly identifying individuals. I was tasked with creating logos, to reflect the essence of these groups, their people, and what they stand for as a group.

OneCE Book Club

ERG Logos-07.png

OneCE Book Club wanted to incorporate a fun graphic element that plays with the imagery of physical books and touches on the fact an intellectual discussion takes place.

Sí @ CE

ERG Logos-06.png

Sí @ CE was quite fond of their current logo, so taking inspiration from the existing compostion, I aligned the logo to better fit within the new brand guidelines. I used the same framing device as Excellence to create the idea of a safe space for Latinx-identifying employees.

CE Worldwide

ERG Logos-02.png

CE Worldwide wished to lean into the brand's graphical elements, suggesting using a globe icon to represent the connection of the employees within this group who identify with a nationality outside of just American.

Ability @ CE

ERG Logos-04.png

Ability @ CE wished to have a stronger focus on the blue within the gradient. I used a similar framing device as some of the other logos to once again, create a sense of belonging and safety. There is a larger focus on the individual rather than the company on this logo.

Excellence

ERG Logos-03.png

Excellence wished for a completely brand-new direction. The elegant design is meant to reflect the elevated conversations that took place within that group. The framing device plays with the idea that this group is a safe space for Black-identifying employees.

LeadHERs Network

ERG Logos-01.png

LeadHERs wished to lean into girliness/femininity in a playful sense to challenge the forced masculinization that often happens to female-identfying employees in an effort to prove themselves in male-dominated industries. There was an expressed interest to incorporate the star diamond elements from the brand guidelines.

Stronger Together

ERG Logos-05.png

Stronger Together wished to reflect the strong community/ volunteering focus of this group. Their people-first mentality and humanitarian approach inspired this connected iconography.
